The Rules (Draft)

General Site Rules ~

1) Treat Everybody Equally :: We do NOT want anybody disrespecting other members on the site. If a member finds something you say offensive it will be reported to an Admin and dealt with. Please think about what you say before you post it and think about if it would actually hurt someone's feeling. We have a range of religions and cultures on the site so please don't let your own view offend others.

2) Activity :: We understand that a lot of people do a lot of things outside of Role-playing and we do not wish for your life to be spent on here but we would appreciate it if you could check in with the site once a week to keep up with the news and with your posts, especially if you're a main character. If you feel that you can't be on a lot please let us know, or if you're going away for a long period of time tell us.

3) Get to know one another :: There's an out of character section where you can get to know one another. PLEASE do not start having a random out of character conversation in the middle of a topic. Topic's are for RPing only, let's keep it that way. We have a whole section for you when you're OOC so use it please. Any unrelated messages in topics will be removed.

4) Chatbox :: We encourage people to use the chatbox when online so we can talk to you while you post. It's a way the whole site can communicate instantly, it's not mandatory but it is nice to chat to yah!

5) Basic Spelling :: PLEASE make sure you check your posts before posting so there aren't that many spelling mistakes. We don't ask for perfection but if we make clumsy spelling mistakes in every single word it makes it really hard to read. We don't mind on the odd spelling mistake here and there but please do try and don't be slobby with the spelling.

6) Separate :: Keep Real life and Role Play life separate please. If there is a real issue don't post with them, simple as that.

Posting Rules ~

7) DO NOT POST UNTIL YOU CHARACTER HAS BEEN ACCEPTED.

Length :: With posts we ask that you post at least one paragraph [About 6 - 8 sentences]. It's REALLY hard to reply to a post which only has one line. We accept new members will take some time to adjust to this and that is one of our goals as a site to help you with your writing, but the older members, please don't slack, the new guys have got to look up to you!

9) Make it known :: When posting, if it's invite only please state so in the name with a simple **Invite Only - ** And put the name of the person/people who is invited. Topics without this in the name will be classed as open.

10) Politeness :: This is more of a request than a rule, but if a topic has been posted in between two people for a long time then please don't just barrel into their posts, PM them to ask if it's okay to join, it's general politeness that's all.

11) Activity :: Please keep up with your posts. It's really annoying when you forget about posts with another person and they're waiting for your reply, especially on a group topic. If you're going to be away then let a member of staff know so that we can lock the topic until you're back so it isn't over run.

12) Order :: When posting in a large group please get an order sorted for when you post. It's rude when two people take over a post between them. Once you get 4 or more people in a topic [Unless an event in which case there are usually side conversations] please make a list of who is posting in what order and stick to it. e.g

Rules of Characters ~

13) Creating Character :: Please use the template provided, we don't want characters from other sites and if you really wish to have them from another site you'll have to take the time to fill out our template sheet. An Admin or Mod wont accept you until you have done so.

14) Godmodding :: Please keep in mind about your characters and their powers. We don't want Godmodding people on the site, it will result in a very serious warning especially if it's in a fight. To stop arguments decide who is going to win out of topic in PM.

15) Character amount :: There is no restriction on the amount of characters you have but please make sure you post with each one. If you want to get rid of a character because you don't feel it working any more then ask for help.

16) No Draculas, Alucards, van Helsings, Cain or Abel(due to the cainite religion), or any vampire name from popular books or shows.
