Anarchs


General Description: The Anarchs are not so much a society as they are those who willingly place themselves outside of any forms of organized control. These are the vampires that have rejected the rule of the Crimson Court and other groups and the werewolves that have decided to take the lone wolf archetype to its literal extreme.
It is of course not of unheard of for Anarchs to band together and form organizations of their own, but these organizations are usually not as much an actual organization as they are simply a group of people with similar goals or ideals.

Hierarchy: Hierarchy amongst Anarchs, if there is any, is based mostly on power. Law of the jungle. It helps that most Anarchs are idealistic lovers of freedom, and not evil despots, but there are always those who are just as power-hungry and controlling as the elders of the Crimson Court.

Spread: Though fewer in numbers than members of larger organizations, there are plenty of Anarchs spread all over the world. There are even some cities that have been declared Anarch free-states. With their lack of rules and enforcement thereof however, these cities often attract the attention of the defenders of gaia and vampire hunters. If it comes to this, the power of the vampire anarchs in this city may very well diminish to the point that the Crimson Court once again takes over the reins; this has happened several times already in the past. Of course, those Anarch states that follow the Masquerade a little more strictly, albeit unofficially, tend to fare a lot better.

Laws: Among Anarchs there are some unwritten and very much unofficial rules of etiquette. For example, in most cities it is expected that when in the domain of a powerful Anarch, one makes their presence known to them before simply carrying on with their business. These customs vary from city to city, and there are no official sanctions against breaking them.
Most vampire anarchs follow the ideals of the Masquerade just as members of the Court do, since it pertains directly to their survival and that of the entire vampire species.
